I really like this style of clip due for nothing for fishing line to hang up on like other designs. These are super strong, and a bugger to open the small end, if not impossible for the average joe. But a friend of mine found a way that works “most” of the time without tools, especially the smaller size. I’ll try to explain how. Take and open the big end just enough to not get in the way of the small clip that wraps around the main body. Now hold the clip in one hand and place the eye of a barrel swivel that you want to install on the small end that closes the snap/see pic. Hold on clip tight with your left hand and pull the barrel swivel with somewhat downward pressure as you pull. The downward pressure pushes the main body and allows more room for the eye of the barrel swivel to work around the hook. This is easier to show someone than it is to explain but hopefully it will work for you. After having done several dozen it gets easier. Thanks
