Dorman 65406 Magnetic Transmission Drain Plug M18x1.50 Compatible with Select Acura / Honda Models

This ATF drain plug went right in after getting the factory plug off. If you haven’t opened this plug at all since you owned the car. I highly recommend getting this because you will destroy the factory plug trying to get it out. Your socket only goes in halfway on the factory plug. This Dorman aftermarket plug fits the socket all the way and much easier to remove later on.This product fits a 2004 Honda Accord EX V6 if you are wondering. Honda makes ATF drains and fills super easy. No messy pan to drop or gasket or pan filter to replace.After refilling with Genuine Honda ATF DW1 fluid, you will notice your shifting will be smoother. The difference is noticeable. My ATF drain and refill were overdue and I plan on doing it again next year when I change my oil next.
