Crock Pot Artisan 13 Inch Enameled Cast Iron Lasagna Pan, Teal Ombre

I have an enameled cast iron pan similar to this that my mom gifted me 20 years ago. Around the holidays, i usually lament that I’ve only got one. This year, after Thanksgiving dinner, I decided to look for another one and happened on this gorgeous Crock Pot offering. It’s slightly larger than the one I’ve used hundreds of times and deeper, which is an absolute plus.It just arrived this week (two weeks earlier than quoted, thankfully) and has been used twice. Tonight, I made my traditional potatoes au gratin with ham chunks with leftover ham from thanksgiving. That extra 1/2″ depth is noticeable, as I made the typical amount of mornay sauce, sliced the usual amount of potatoes and there was ample room at the top. No boilover!My other pan has handles, but I like the design of these much better, as I can get a grip around them with the potholders. My husband commented that he’s looking forward to the next lasagna being made in this pan.Crock pot, would you consider making a 9″ square pan next?
